True, true. Though I did not, because I'd read this forum before opening mine. So, placed it on a flat, flat, flat, oops, did I say, flat surface, like the one on Wren's picture, and slowly but firmly pressed the areas around and on top of the processors, yes, I'd gauged that area prior, and massaged the proc card in place. I gave it power, and was happy. Every time I had to open it, I did this. I've tried to ensure I don't have reason to go down there. As I don't like doing this. If the pins bend, well, well, well, you're out of luck.
