This is true, but why would you spend $100 on a ROM simm when you can just get
an ATA controller for $75 that would allow you 2 extra drives and the option of
RAID striping them if you want?

I have 2 G3/266 MT's here (both Rev A) and neither of them have RAM issues.
They both have 2x256 and 1x128 Dimms in them.  No problems running them at
640mb's.
