I read the forums at XLR8 and MacFixit on a daily basis but if
you want to compare Apples to Apples heres what's in my basket...
I have here a rev-A Beige G3 266 minitower that is running overclocked
at 291Mhz with an 83Mhz bus speed and 768MB of Ram!
This Mac has the stock 6gig ATA hard drive and CD-Rom drive.
On the SCSI buss we find an Internal Zip 100 drive,
and an 18gig 10k rpm Seagate SCSI/SCA drive with adapter(9line termination)
Also installed in this machine are an IX Micro TwinTurbo 128,
a 12MB GameWizard Voodoo2 card and a "House Brand" Comp USA
Firewire/USB combo card.
(Requires Windows 98SE or Higher it says on the box!)
All of this runs quite trouble free under OS 9.1 using no third party
drivers.
Any Questions????
Aloha, Ken
