I have been following this Beige G3 thread because I have a
Beige G3/333 that has given me lots of problems and I have gotten a
bit discouraged with it.
When I had a Yamaha CD burner hooked up to the motherboard
SCSI port I continually had problems with the burner not working
right and often got "Connection Unstable, check connections" message.
Changing to a new
scsi cable did not solve this.
Then I think the onboard ethernet port has died. When I
choose ethernet in appletalk control panel I get the message "An
error occurred attemting to use ethernet. Make sure your network
connections are correct."
Since there are so many knowledgeable Beige G3 owners on this
list, I'm hoping we can convert this thread to a Beige G3
troubleshooting thread.
Anyone have any suggestions on the two above listed Beige G3 problems?
