Hi,
I can print from AppleWorks 5 running in classic mode under OS X 10.1.3
I have not installed any extra driver under OSX and the classic
system folder (OS 9.2.2) has also no driver installed for my HP 840c.
If you look in the classic Chooser, you don't see the printer, but it works.
Of course, when Iwant to run OS 9.2.2 alone, I boot from a separated
partition with the necessary printer driver.
