I am not sure if you understood me.
I have two partitions, one with OSX 10.1.3 and a basic OS9.2.2 (for
Classic) and another partition with OS9.2.2 plus 3rd part extensions
and pre-OSX programs.
Only the OS9.2.2 in the second partition has a driver for my HP840c.
The OS9 in the first partition does not have any driver for the HP
and that is the system that I use to run Classic when I am booted in
OSX.
I don't know why it works, but I can print from AppleWorks5 (a
classic application) when it is runnig under classic with OSX,
altough my classic folder has NO driver for the printer.
If I look in the Chooser, I only see AppleShare and LaserWriter 8
