Hello

My opinion and personal experimental observations on this string follow

I have NEVER been able to print a OS9 file when opening it via Classic
from OSX no matter what drivers I use or do not use.

Prints OK in OSX. Prints OK when boot back into OS9 but "tilts" when try
to print a OS9 file from OS10x via Classic .

Thats just the way the Apple cookie crumbles

And I believe with the present OS10.1 it never can be reliably done

I suggest that for now you forgedaboutit, and wait for OS11x and spend your
time on other things
