Make a list of all your software you use regularly. Go the the software
publiser's web site. See what each says about  OSX. Determine if you can
cheaply upgrade, or use what you have in Classic mode. If most of your
software will work, then upgrade. If it won't, don't. Basically do a cost
benefit analysis. Otherwise, just upgrade to 9.22 and leave it at that.

One thing to consider is a G4 upgrade chip, and a video card upgrade. Both
will make Jaguar much more responsive.

In the end, if you are satisfied with what you have, leave it alone. If it
works, leave it alone. If there is some new feature you want, then upgrade.
If you want to change, be prepared for upgrades required do to software or
hardware incompatibility.
