Sorry forgot to add that it would be best to get a second hard drive (40
GB?) and install X.  That way you could always boot into 8.6 if you needed
to.  As well do as the others are suggesting, make a list of the most used
apps and see if there are upgrades for them to run smoothly in Classic mode
(OS 9.x.x).
