How about following Apple's  " Resetting the Mother Board " ?

remove battery From MOBO
remove all power supply connectors to MOBO
press CUDA switch (resets some "stuff")
press Power On Switch ( discharges any capacitors on MOBO)

put everything back

continue on and "hope"
