I have a flashing icon over my Apple icon in the upper left corner that is
driving me nuts.
266 G3, OS 9.2
I have gone through the extensions manager and could not find anything that
looked like it. I looks similar to the AOL icon, but turning AOL on or off
and unplugging the modem doesn't change anything. Re-starting and
re-building the desktop doesn't change anything either. It does not matter
what software is running, or if any software is running at all, aside from
the finder.
It just sits there and blinks on and off continually. It does not seem to
slow things down or cause any other problems so far. It looks like a globe
with two lines angled at 45 degrees forming a peak over the top of the
globe.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kathi
