Hey Rich,

Yes, that is helpful...looks like a combo card change is in my future.  I'm
running 9.2.2 but not OS X (yet).  I'm a little reluctant to go with X on my
Beige G3 because of all of the potential problems I've heard about.

Is there a "tried & true" process for leaping into X on a Beige G3 MiniTower
thus avoiding the risk of running into the reported potential gremlins?  I
have wondered if running a HD off of a PCI/ATA card I could avoid the
partitioning off the first 8GB, etc.  Any tips you can share will be
appreciated.
