G'day Roger

There are some real benefits in using a separate partition for Jag, not
the least of which is that you can always resort to a re-format & clean
install if serious problems arise.

The first 8 Gig is really inconsequential.

I've got 5 users and heaps of stuff in Jag, and still have 4.6 Gig left.

My music mp3's, and a lot of graphics, are stored on the 30 Gig 9.2.2
partition, and it's no problem.

I also back up the users files from Jag onto the other partition.
Sometimes, if you have disk problems, it may only be with a single
partition, and the other(s) are fine.

Now I know the pitfalls with installing Jag, it's a breeze, and is
very, very nice to use. I hardly resort to 9 at all now.

The main thing I have read is that it's important with both 9.2.x and
Jag to keep about 20% of each partition free.

I've posted my procedure once before, but might be able to dig it up
and update it if you want.

Regards

Santa

And what, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this......
Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged with numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
find
itself
innumerably
