Doug, The photos were only of the front fo the G3 and the "Wings" card would be in the back. We'll wait till it gets to you to see what's back there.
If it doesn't have the "Wings" card the basic card might still work OK. Here is a eBay link to a "plaintalk" Microphone that would work with it. What is signifigant in the photo is the length of the pin which goes into the computer. We discussed the dimensions in detail a while back. Some were having problems getting an audio signal recognized. It was suggested that the "mic" they were using didn't have the wasn't long enough to make the proper contact internally. Thus while their mic seemed plugged in the connection wasn't made to import a signal. This is the standard card in the back just left of the three blue colored card bays. If you purchase a Wings card like the one linked to in previous post, this is the area where it would go. The "plaintalk" mic would plug into and work with this. Many of the tutorials discourage running the cable from the phono/tape/cd/source into the mic port. Rather to import sound thru a "line in" port. The Wings card has the RCA type ports for importing stero sound R & L into the G3.
