I just got an email from Nextune saying that I've won an iPod mini.
They've sent me an affidavit to sign and notarize and fax back to them.
On the affidavit, among the information they ask for is my social
security number.
Since I've never won anything before, I don't know what kind of info
they need.
I'm not sure why they would need my SSN (unless it's for tax purposes.)
If anyone is wondering what this is about, go to www.nextune.net and
enter their contest.

I'm not promoting their website, I just want some advice as to whether
I should give them my SSN or not.
