Well anyone will tell you that X is a ram hog, no matter what you want to do with it.. A G4/450 should not have any problems what so ever with anything from Jaguar to Panther.. But if you plan to run large Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut... etc, files.. then you should look atleast in the 512mb+ ram range.. 128 is pretty bottom of the line. My G3/300 running jag with 384mgs does alright.. But I still to all my photoshop work under 9.2 with a dual boot setup.. Untill I put more ram in this beast it's just way too slow.
