Billy, Is this a Beige G3 or a B&W? In either system , the flashed card will most likely cause more problems than it is worth. I speak from experience here. I had so many problems with OS X installs and non Apple PCI cards, I finally had to remove everything except stock Apple cards to do the install. If OS X is already installed, it will most likely work, but if you want to upgrade your OS, you will have problems. OS X is very picky about installs in the Beige G3. Even in the B&W it's a little touchy. What type of card is currently in the system? The DVD players in OS X are software based. The minimum video card memory needed to run is 16 Mb. You can find an Apple version ATI 128 Rage Pro on eBay for under $50.00 bucks. PCI cards are harder to come but are out there. One of my daughters B&W is running OS 10.3.2, with an Apple ATI 128 Rage Pro (No DVD decoder add-on) with no problems at all.
