Ah yes, good memory jog! Thx! I'd forgotten about Toast's annoying compatibility issues! My notes say Toast is *incompatible* with a number of Apple's extensions (per Roxio's web site). To use it, you must disable these: Authoring Support Disc Burner Extension FireWire Authoring Support iTunes Extension SDAP Authoring Support USB Authoring Support
also note, this is largely because the apple extensions load first. If you rename the toast extension to load before these others, all is usually ok. I know I've seen an Apple KB document to that effect.
My 7300 always freezes during burn if I just make Toast CD Reader load before the above.
