I have been testing Firewire/USB2.0 Combo PCI cards to use on a Beige G3 Minitower running 9.2.1. The first one (by Syba) did not work at all. In the second one (by PPA Inc.), the Firewire portion of the card works fine, but the USB side does not work, as evidenced by the fact that Toast cannot see my combo external CD burner attached. All the USB extensions appear to be loaded. Is there something I can try before I assume the card is malfunctioning?
Thanks,
Jack
