Just my 2 cts worth of advice.
Yeesh, only bad ones.
Commercial plumbing pipe welders are mostly Methyl-ethyl-ketone, or MEK. Acetone is dimethyl ketone, and not as good a solublizer for abs and and pvc, and is far more hydrophilic, meaning there is a lot more water in acetone, so joints made with acetone rather than MEK will have a higher rate of failure.
Word to the wise for you diy'ers out there.
(I spent many years as an analytic chemist before I became a systems admin..and no, I never even thought about using acetone or nail polish remover on the Epson.)
But no, I think I'm going to get one of those cleaning cartridge kits, since the thing's been sitting in a cabinet for months and months; that'll probably be needed to do the trick, as I'll wager other colors are clogged by now as well.
(Nail polish remover is also pretty bad as a solvent as well, since it often contains many other things like lanolin, perfume and other such agents, which are left as residue on the part that's cleaned.
I spent some of my time as an analytic chemist working in an Avon plant...that was one of the products we tested...)
