I agree. I got a BW 450 thinking it would be fast. And it is. In fact it's almost as fast as a G4 400 (assuming using apps that don't use the velocity engine). I have run into numerous occasions where I needed to use startup manager and firewire target disk mode (which the G3 does not support because of firmware issues).

The AGP G4 is the best all around deal. Even a 400 mhz model. I got a G4 733 Quicksilver off ebay for a decent price and am looking forward to it.
