There seem to be a lot of people who are very lucky, indeed. So far the eight people, I think--now nine with this response--have had no or little difficulty with "old world" machines ( I have a 7300 running OS X.2.8 w/o a hitch) or Beige G3's (I have two of those) or B&W G3's (I have two of those, as well).
Considering the number of positive responses about the OS and the hardware working in the computers, and reading the tone of your responses, it seems to me that your posts are only invective and nothing constructive.
For what it's worth, I'm sorry your experience has been so bad. I'm glad that you'd shared it though I fail to see how this will help you get what you need in order to do what you want. Is there, perhaps, a question that the list might be able to help you answer in order to get your G4 working the way you want? That is, after all, the purpose of the list.
Sincerely,
J Sanderson
