Wayne, Is this reference to a boot up in a beige G3 with OS X only, or is this also applicable to Mac OS 9.x versions? I have a beige G3 DT 300 Mhz with 512 RAM and a PCI FW card that works well as an external HD data backup, but I haven't tried to boot from it. Maybe I should try. Thank you for the info. Don
