Hi All,
I have an iBook G4/256/ OS X 10.3.4 - 7 months old.
Yesterday it was fine. The battery did drain to 0% but I went back to the adapter after that and it was fine.
This morning I tried to turn it on and it would not go. Nothing. Zip.
Put in the CD that came with the Apple Extended Warranty. Started the computer and installed TechTool Deluxe (on CD).
Did the drive check and everything passed. Cool. The battery icon was 99% but had a funny lopsided "z" in it instead of the plug.
Took out the CD and restarted on its own just fine?! I don't get it. I want to know what the problem is so I can do something to make sure it doesn't happen again?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Danielle S.
