A wise decision if you want to play with certain applications. They run much better on the faster bus. A huge difference between an MT and a QuickSilver. You'll certainly notice it.So in late July I started my review and search for a replacement ...if i was going to move forware I was going for a 133 MHZ bus or bust trying!
Very neat. Sometimes you can find a bargain on flea bay. Other times you wind up bidding on a lot of stuff that never works out. Congratulations on the perseverance and ultimate success. The item was 6 days out from closing and no "Buy Know" option ...not even PayPal (that got worked out later) ...well it was a trying 6 days and the last 5 min's went very wild ...but I somehow managed to win it just $1.00 under my limit ...$599.00 including shipping!
Just watch out for those sneaky time wasting applications. GarageBand can really sneak up on you if you enjoy making music. <G>I guess this was a little long winded for a reply ...but I feel that the time is upon us all to start moving in the direction of a 133 MHz Power Mac ... I know this new QS is going to serve me well for the 5 or so years ...maybe 2010.
