At any rate, are SCSI drives really twice as expensive as ATA drives?
Because you would need 2 RAIDed SATA drives to be ALMOST as fast as a single
Ultra320 scsi drive. And I am admittedly unfamiliar with fibre channel
technology.
Anyway, I may take your advice and sell my SCSI equipment in favor of an
SATA setup. Id rather get it to work somehow. even my "old" Ultra 160 drive
is faster than SATA.
