Or better yet, David, ship me your G4 and I can ship you the 9600 I'm
writing this on.  It comes with OS 9 _pre-installed_ and, yes, I can include
an install CD for any future hiccups.

Yersinia: living in the past is a luxury that not everyone can afford.  I
think it's great that you're wringing out your older hardware, but giving
someone a hard time when they've already taken the time and trouble to
affect the transition is just plain bizarre.
