Because they don't say the study is actually measuring a decline in  
DESKTOP sales, and implies that Apple's sales are down overall.

Apples sales are UP, and up quite a bit over the rest of the industry  
because their laptop lines are red hot right now.

And if you haven't looked lately, the rest of the industry ISN'T  
surviving on 6% margins...Dell has had large numbers of layoffs, HP's  
profits are off, Sony's in the tank right now; hell the company that  
we used to get our systems from (MPC which bought Gateway's business  
and EDU lines) declared Chapter 11 last month. (which is the complete  
suxx0r because we now have a bunch of new servers we may not get the  
full warrantee out of. )
