I'll agree with Kyle and Alex on this point. If you're dealing with  
web design tools, they may well abandon 10.4, or PowerPC entirely,  
when Snow Leopard comes out. I did notice that you said a 15" Macbook  
- there is no such thing. All of the Macbooks are available at 13". If  
you really have to have a 15" screen, then you'll have to go with a  
Macbook Pro or a Powerbook. A new Macbook Pro 15" starts at $1999,  
though you may be able to find a Pro much cheaper used.

To summarize: It makes more sense to go with Intel over PowerPC if you  
can afford it. If a 15" screen is a necessity, and a Macbook Pro is  
out of reach financially, then a Powerbook, or even a 14" iBook, may  
make more sense.
