Put it this way,if PPC is supported I will honestly eat my hat.
What are the requirements for 10.5?is it G4 800MHz and up?that's IIRC....what's 
the next stepping stone from there?I guess it's G5 and up but really I can only 
see it leaving PPC behind entirely.

Agreed, get the macbook you'll notice a world of difference in terms of 
value and speed. While the G4 will do everything you want its a dying 
architecture. Also, did apple officially say PPC macs wont be compatible 
with Snow Leopard?
