Hi Robin, I have tried a number of times to contact James North and ask him to send me any saved emails from MS Outlook containing Paypal.com receipts etc that would help me in determining who were valid pre-ordered users. All of my attempts were bounced back at me from Go Daddy's servers. It appears after giving up Alchemy he discontinued his former email addresses, took down the web site, and has made himself basically uncontactable by anyone in the blind gaming comunity. He sent us some sales records which we attempted to process when Beta 7 first came out, but around half couldn't be contacted by phone or email. Many people said they ordered from James, but were not in our records. My wife and I agreed to try and except receipts that looked like they came from Paypal.com or Alchemy we felt were authentic. However, this is risky because some selfish less than honest person might try and fake the receipts and sometimes determining a fake from an authentic one is often difficult to determine since James North doesn't seam to have a basic format for his receipts. Anyone who orders from USA Games knows each email is basically identical except the user specific information is different, because our receipts are php form generated though we have been experimenting of late with different formats. Anyway, I can't varify anything with James North, and I doubt very few if anyone can. He is gone, and I'm glad he isn't on list causing more flame wars, making promises he couldn't keep, taking pre-orders with no products to demo, etc... It was just bad business, and we don't need that here.
