Hi damien.

i must admit, i was rather hoping you'd reworked the combat system with a
number of new options and stratogy as well as the random chance elements you
mention. while I appreciated the work that had gone into creating the sounds
for the original game, I'll admit I thought the game was rather lacking in
depth, especially considdering the vast number of text games and muds on the
internet which involve a turn based combat system, ----- often along side
other game content. Admitedly these do not usually involve sound, and good
sound and atmosphere can contribute to a game, but I did feel the original
acefire needed much more work on the game system itself to support the sound
and atmosphere.

but obviously I haven't yet played acefire 2, and so it wouldn't be
appropriate for me to make any assumptions about the game at this point
until I have.

good luck finishing things off, and I'll be interested to try the game out.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.
