This version includes the superweapon as part of the game now. No, we
haven't added any such things as dodging, armour collecting or stuff like
that, though we could certainly make your defense stronger as certain things
happen in the game. It was decided by most of the devs in X-Sight that we
should stick to as much to the original as possible, as they said the chance
element was what made it more fun, as you aren't expecting what's coming
next. For example, has the computer missed? Will he hit you?
Also, all sounds have changed from the original. The only sound which
remains original now is the happy birthday message.
Also now, the computer has a bullwhip as well as its gun, and can decide to
use either at any time. For example: it could choose to use the whip from
the start, or it could decide to use the gun, or, it could load the gun,
then decide to use the whip instead, giving it that little bit more of a
chance element.
Hope this fills you in on the differences between the original Acefire and
Acefire2.
If you have any suggestions we'd be pleased to hear them.
Thanks.
Regards,
Damien
