I consider myself a definite nintendo purist, but I'd be willing to sacrifice the classic feel of the game just to get a feel for what mario used to be like back in the day, since the only real experience I have with it is listening to my brother play.
I agree, double dragon would make an awesome game, especially with the weapons and all. Double Dragon II was my favorite because of all the platforming elements. I could actually beat the first 3 levels, the city streets with the building climbing, the airport which was basically just a straight level as I recall, and the helicopter, where you were inside a copter with 4 or 5 guys and you had to either beat them into unconciousness or knock them out of the copter doors before the boss showed up. I could get most of the way through the fourth level but at the end of the level instead of a boss there was a giant system of gears and converor belts that you had to jump across in just the right manner. Would be cool to see a remake of something like that. The TMNT arcade games would make good accessible games as well. --- Gamers mailing list __ [email protected] If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org.
