Oh. It's good to know the range. That makes me feel a lot better. Also, this is the first game that my friend and I agree gives pretty much the same info to the sighted and blind player.
I must as a question, or perhaps suggest a change. He and I both agree that, when you're in a huge loot-grabbing situation, the overwhelming number of the flies makes it very, very difficult to hear. Now, I understand that this might be a point of game balance. However, I wonder if the sound could be changed from an epic, Amityville Horror style swarm of flies to a few flies buzzing around. When you get any more than three loot spawns in the same spot, it sounds like you're a beekeeper with them buzzing inside your ears as well as out. I like the idea of flies, though, because it's a lot more of an environmental emersion than, say, beep, beep, oh "loot!"
