Hello I'm encounter the same problems as Alex does. I could successfully install Google Gears version 0.4.22.0 (latest) on OS X 10.5.5 with Safari 3.1.2. The item "Google Gears Setting ..." appears in the menu, but it seams it can't connect to its underlying "base" because it shows "Keine Sites" and PRODUKT_VERSION. Also the settings window is in German. I dont know why. The demos on your web site won't work either.
When I press the Offline Button in Google Docs it tells me to upgrade google gears. I'll do that but the download site does not contain the usual blue button. There is simply nothing on the right hand side. But. I tried with Firefox and there it works well. I can go offline with google docs. Could you please help me? Thanks, Jan
