Of course this is not about throwing e.g. digester over to XML and
forget about it. Rather, it would simply be its new home with its own
mailing list(s). And all developers who are already working on it,
would continue to do so in its new place. I mean, there is not much
overlap between e.g. digester and lang as it is, except that there are
people who do work on both (that's the whole point of this discussion,
or not ?)
But they could do the same in both places, with the benefit that some
other developers from the new place might also be interested (e.g.
dbutils would probably attract DB developers, e.g. me). And users
would able to choose a more specialized mailing list with less noise.
