Hello Ian

-> Yes, you need to setup a socksserver on the gateway and you should
-> never run a sockswrapper on the gateway if you use it as the socks
-> server

Done

-> Get http://www.active-net.co.uk/support/updates/sks5serv.lha
-> --
-> You need to copy the 'socks5' file to AmiTCP:serv and the
->  'socksserver.mcp' file to  AmiTCP:mui.

Done.

The sks5serv.lha file has no readme file, just socks5, socksserver.mcp. I
tried executing it and it errored re 47.0 version of ixemul.library. I
download the latest ixemul.library. Then executed the socks, it opened an
output window and did nothing else (hung).

I suppect that I shouldn't execute it. It shows up in the main menu of my
GenesisPrefs program as "socksserver"

Amiga
My ppp inteface is configured for dynamic IP address (gets from ISP in range
of 209.14.81.0-255)
My ariadne has 10.10.10.1 for it's IP address

NT4.0 box
Has IP of 10.10.10.3
Gateway of 10.10.10.1

The info bubble on Genesis states that the first interface listed is the
gateway, so I have PPP first, hoping this will help.

How do I tell the Gensis software that data coming into my computer via
10.10.10.1 should be conveyed to the PPP's dynamic IP address? Or should
that happen automagically?

Thanks again for your prior and continued help. LeEric
