Hello Ian

-> Well thats most likley due to a task holding the interface open, Ie it
never
-> goes "offline"
Like, possible, what?
-> EH, With 10.10.10.3 being a internal ip series, you either need socks or
-> ipmasq to get stuff from internet...
OK, If I enable Socks wrappers, enter Server IP as 10.10.10.1 and Port as:
1080. Everything crumbles around me. I am no longer able to access the
internet. If I undo everything, I can then reuse the internet. What gives?
Is IPMASQ part of GENESIS? Or must I get it from somewhere else.
If so. Where?
-> Or ask your isp for one static ip / machine... (you won't get it though =))
They want $10 more a month!
->> Isn't the NT machine suppose to find it's way to my Gateway (10.10.10.1)
and

->> Note: I haven't changed anything on the NT machine, and it access the

->
-> Yes, but the IP of the ntmachine is illegal and won't have access...
Does socks make this possible? Or how about socksserver?
There seems to be quite a few SocksServer settings to make.
How are they done?
IPMASQ was what I used on my son's LINUX box. He will soon be moving out
taking his computer with him. So I would like to do the same trick on
my Amiga.
Thanks once more.. LeEric
