Hello Ian,

Thanks for all of your help thus far. Pardon the sudden stop in
communications, but I started a new job on 15 Jun that works me from
12 midnight to 8:30 AM, its a bit of getting use to. ;-)

On 14-Jun-99, Ian Kumlien wrote:

OK. Correct me if I am wrong, The socks wrapper is the client program, and
the SocksServer is the host.
I am setting up Ami as the host. So... Wrappers is disabled. SocksServer
is activated.
How can I test or prove that socksServer is running and functing as
intended? entry in a log file?

On the NT side of the house, I have acquired sc32r103.exe (client socks
program)
and installed it. But the readme says I must have a WinSocks stack
installed. Is it available with NT? Is it present, and I don't know it? As
I have been accessing the ISP via the NT box/modem using Netscape in the
past?

For you info, I am pasteing the configuration of my GenesisPrefs into
this email. Please look it over.

Below is listed the options as seen from the GenesisPrefs program.
Please review for correctness in regards to my Amiga providing (host)
Socksever to 3 other machines (clients)

No great loss, I never have time for games!
