There's also the very real license issue. As others have mentioned, that no-commercial-use bit isn't particularly appropriate for a Gentoo-official wiki. So even if the gentoo-wiki.com owner was ideally cooperative, while the value of his experience and contacts shouldn't be underestimated, the direct content contribution would have to be limited to pointers from each site to the other, and enthusiastic moral support. But there's no use making an enemy of what can be a friend, either.
