hey -I just wanted to tell you I had the same problem too .
there is a very good product - dish with hangers which will put an end to
all the problems .
first - it is not chewable .. second you can hang it where the gerbs can
reach it and still .. cant bury it under the wood shavings and papers .
if you have a cage - it is very easy to hang , and if you have a tank ...
well what I did is ( a little complicated )to put a wood divider that for
the gerbils makes a nice closed area for sleeping and for me . a solid
"wall" to hang the dish on .

you can buy (the dish ) it in any petshop .

hila .

Ok, all you guys and gals..what sort of container to you use to feed
your gerbs? The crocks/little bowls get tipped over and buried and
the "LIXIT" feeders are getting chewed at the opening. Help..I give.
I am only giving them a day's rations in the little crocks, but it
still ends up getting spilled. Thoughts from all you more experienced?
Thanks loads!

Cindy
