The buck certainly looks like an Ivory Cream. He is almost white in colour
but has a very creamy sheen to his coat. I have looked at the colour pallet
and this is the picture that looks like him most.

The doe I was told is either a Pearl, a Light Colourpoint Agouti or a Polar
Fox. She is white in colouring with dark (black going down the hair shaft to
brown) ticking. Which do you think she is? I would send a picture of them
both, but I don't think I can send attachments to this list!

Thanks in advance!

Victoria

First off, you may not have a Pearl and/or a Cream (Argente or Ivory?)
Did someone tell you these are their colors? Or did you buy them from
a pet store and that's what they said?

I honestly don't see how such a pairing would come up with only
Golden Agoutis, so perhaps one or the other is not what you think it
to be.

Double check your colors: http://home.wtal.de/ehr/gerbils/colors.htm

And then plug them into the genetic predictor to find you what you'll get.

From what I understand, Pearl is pretty rare, mainly because they
carry two cb genes AND the ever illusive gg pairing. If you cannot
tell from the color palette, try writing down a complete description
of them, and ask those on the list to see if they can help.

Hope that helps a little.
