I thought I posted this already (apologies if it shows up twice now!)

one of my pairs has to go back - bent on arrival (and the frame has
'memory' so can't be adjusted)

had a headache two days with the other pair. checked the prescription
- was off my more than 5 degrees on the axis on one eye.

when i contacted eyebuydirect about this online, the person said it
was a problem with my optometrists lensmeter, and that their lab had
the right prescription, so its not their fault!!!!

huh?! well they eventually agreed to do the return anyways - since
they have the policy that they do one return no matter what. but the
person online said that if this happens again then I'm not gonna be
able to return again. (this doesn't sit well with me)

so i shipped them. then i tried to get someone online. couldn't. sent
an email

two days later - still no response via email. decided to sit online
and keep renewing the chat box until i get someone (their chat request
automatically goes to email after a minute or so).

the person online said she could do a replacement for both. just to
give her the frames and the Rx.

One of the frames I wanted is out of stock. they won't let me wait
until its back in stock again. I would pick another frame - but they
have NO other rimless frames that fit my head (i need at least a 137
frame width).

I'm also inclined to pick a different frame than the one that is bent,
since they will only replace it once, and i don't wanna chance getting
another bent frame and being stuck with it.

I'm feeling like they are forcing me to take a refund.

I want to get replacements because I used the 241 discount. I also
want replacements because I feel like I'm 35 bucks out of pocket
(shipping) already and I wanna see this thing through.

I'm revising the 'B-' grade I gave them above.

I'm now giving them a 'C'.

not replying to emails is not good. Lack of selection in large frames
is not good for me either (this is how I am being forced into a
refund). Not delivering within your own shipping guidelines (they told
me within 14 business days - it took 16; this is 22 calendar days
versus 18 days estimated) not good.

Two pairs of glasses with quality issues. Very Bad.

with their 241 pricing my two pairs of glasses came to 160 (one pair
was photochromic; both pairs had 1.59 index). this price seems like
its in the middle range for online ordering. For the price I'm paying
I expect better quality control.

maybe one of these things on its own is not bad. but the combination
of all of them is something that would make me wanna go with someone
else next time.
