Late to the party with my update. It was a Christmas miracle! My dad's glasses (the replacements which were rushed to the lab after the first order was lost) arrived on Christmas Eve day in the mail. The glasses looked great and work very well for him, both the bifocal daily wear and the single vision sunglasses. 30 business days from start to finish, but I got to use the special GlassyEyes discounts which made dad pretty happy.
