Hi Eric,

I am well aware that with the present administration of oil men in
charge there is no hope of any action from the US until after the next
presidential elections.  However, I am trying to warn that even with a
Democrat in the White House, that may not be enough :-(  The Chinese
administration, and even the Russian government may not be democratic.
Thus even with Gore elected president it may be too late to save the
world.

I has just occurred to me that we are rather like the Jews dismounting
from the trains at Auschwitz.  There are warnings of our future but we
just ignore them because they are too terrible to contemplate.
