Thanks Eric. I'm up to speed with the Heartland connection, and know
McShane of old. He's even sent me Spencer's powerpoint... (offered it
to all and sundry in a comment on a blog - I took him up on it ;-) )

and listen to Monckton read out his redraft of the "Manhattan
Declaration".Prolix is polite...)
Talk me through the ice age connection. Do you mean that we could not
warm out of an ice age if there was a strong negative feedback in the
tropics?
