Thanks.  By looking at the data more carefully, before the climatic
optimum of the Eem there is a definite temperature dip:

129324  -416.3  2.78
129374  -419.6  2.20
129411  264.1
129428  -428.7  0.67
129486  -434.5  -0.31
129545  -429.1  0.56
129600  -423.8  1.42
129653  -421.5  1.78
129705  -419.1  2.16

where the data is (date, ignore, temperature above reference).
There is one CO2 measurement during this period of 264.1 ppm.

Now that I understand better the cause of the 8.2 kya event, volcano
eruptions, I would be surprised not to find something
similar for the Eem.  And indeed there it is.
