JD I received my ticket in a 150 and in December I purchased my Ercoupe 99154 and was solo by my instructor in an hour the Ercoupe is a great plane But I agree with everyone else stick it out in the 150 and then go for the coupe. Here is a quick story, I recieved my training from a great CFII at a little grass strip in Argyle NY.
