JD, I have to agree with the 4 or 5 responses so far. I would continue in an airplane with real rudder pedals. I would prefer to see someone take taledragger lessons but one can't have everything. If you are proficient in the 150, perhaps you can get the instructor to sign you off for solo in the coupe so you can save some money doing the solo stuff. Nothing wrong with learning in several airplanes. Most of the solo stuff is x/c and the like where the plane is of little consequence. I learned in Cessna's 120, 172 & 150.
